The ‘Make it Visible’ Tour kicks off in the Barratt West Region

Barratt Developments PLC were pleased to first announce a collaboration with the Lighthouse Club with a £50,000 donation from the Barratt Foundation last year which has enabled the charity to continue their work improving the health and wellbeing of the construction community. As part of this partnership, Lighthouse Club have kicked off their ‘Make it Visible’ tour in the Barratt West Division to bring wellbeing advice, help and support to site-based teams and sub-contractors.

The tour launched on Monday 12th June by Russell Glimstead (Regional Managing Director, West Region) along with Andy Button-Stephens from the Barratt Foundation. The tour commenced with site visits taking place across the West Region and also the week commencing 26th June. As part of the tour, the Lighthouse Club team will be visiting over 20 of Barratt Developments construction sites talking to team members and sub-contractors on site about all of the support they offer and answer any questions. The tour team will be on hand to share some of their lived experience and to provide on-the-day support and signposting colleagues to further information.

Barratt Developments prioritises the health and wellbeing of their employees and sub-contractors. They are aware of how important being well and feeling supported is, both in and outside of work. They also know that within the construction sector it is the case that sadly we see more deaths due to suicide when compared with many other working environments.

The Barratt Foundation are proud of their partnership with the Lighthouse Club.
