Spreading festive cheer by donating £6,000 to Northampton homelessness charity.
Leading Northampton-based developer Barratt and David Wilson Homes has donated £6,000 to the Northampton Hope Centre to help support the work they do to tackle homelessness.
The donation, which was matched by parent company Barratt Developments to make £6,000, will now go towards the charity’s outreach work combatting poverty and homelessness across the county.
Their work helps people experiencing the most acute problems of disadvantage, exclusion and marginalisation.
As well as giving practical support, they focus on helping people to help themselves, providing support and services that will enable individuals to take back control of their own lives, and campaign with them against the causes of their disadvantage.
Noo Jarvill, Corporate Fundraiser at Northampton Hope Centre, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our relationship with Barratt and David Wilson Homes and are completely overwhelmed by your generosity. Without support like this we would be unable to help those who rely on our services, so thank you very much indeed for this wonderful, timely donation – it will be used wisely.”
